Provides information, referral and advocacy services and acts as an advocate for deaf and hard of hearing persons on legislative issues and various state and local government and public agencies. Offers trainings on a wide variety of topics related to hearing loss to agencies who request it. Produces a monthly Communicator newsletter and other printed materials related to hearing loss. Distributes specialized telephone equipment to eligible deaf and hard of hearing, speech impaired and deafblind Kentuckians.
