Eligibility

Must have/meet:

Total gross household income must be at or below 225% of the 2024 Federal Poverty Income Guidelines
Paid at least $25 toward their water bill in the 180 days prior to applying for assistance
A balance of at least $50 outstanding on account

Required documents

Please bring with you:

Picture ID for the members of the household
Proof of social security numbers for the members of the household that are 18 years of age or older
Proof of all household income received in the last 30 days including pay stubs, SSI, disability, child support, etc.
Copy of most recent water bill
Proof of payment of at least $25 made to Kentucky American Water in the last 6 months
