2024 Build-A-Bed applications must be received by February 16, 2024.
Description
Provides new beds at no cost to qualifying low income school-aged children who do not have a bed of their own in their home. Each bed is supplied with a mattress, bedding and other bedtime kit supplies.

Required Documents
Please bring with you or include in application: * Completed application which must be received by the specified deadline listed on the application form * Award Letter when picking up the bed
Eligibility
Must have/meet: * Must be residents of Boyd.Carter, Elliott, Greenup or Lawrence counties * Children must be from 2 years to 18 years of age and currently enrolled in school * The child does not already have a bed of their own * Must meet household income guidelines * Households that receive a bed are responsible for arranging the transportation to pick up the bed (beds will not be delivered by the program) * The bed must be able to fit within the bedroom where the child will be sleeping
