Description
Operates a monthly food pantry program that provides supplemental food to families in need that reside in the Fallsburg area of Lawrence County. Distribution of the food is held at the Fallsburg Tabernacle Church but applications for the Fallsburg Food Bank are taken at the Fallsburg Elementary School's Family Resource and Youth Services Center.

Third Thursday of each month 11:00 am-1:00 pm (EST)
Required Documents
Please bring with you or include in application: * Picture ID * Proof of income * Proof of residency such as current utility bill * Clients receiving SNAP benefits only need to present picture ID
Eligibility
Must have/meet: * Must be resident of the Fallsburg area of Lawrence County * Must meet income requirements established by USDA Guidelines for household size and gross monthly income * Clients already receiving SNAP benefits automatically qualify for the Food Bank's program

Emergency food assistance is for residents of the Fallsburg area of Lawrence County
Description
Provides a limited amount of food for individuals or families during times of personal crisis, or for people who have no food or cannot afford to purchase food at retail costs. Clients are provided a food box on a one-time only or limited basis. If individuals or families have a recurring need to make a food box request, such as job loss, an assessment will be made to see what social services may be needed by the client and appropriate referrals made to agencies who can address these needs.
