Special Notes/Funding

Offers 2 programs, one for emergency repairs to electrical, heating and air that can address needs quickly. Those needing other assistance will have their name placed on a waiting list in the order it is received. It may be up to 12 months or more before their name will come to the top of the waiting list to be contacted.

Description

Provides financial assistance up to $35,000 to low- and moderate-income owner-occupied homeowners for repairs or replacement of roofs, electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning systems or other needed repairs. May be in the form of a deferred/forgivable loan based on household income and amount needed for repairs.
