Description
Provides a short-term residential alternative to inpatient hospitalization for children from birth to 17 years of age who are experiencing a mental health crisis and require 24-hour support in a supervised environment to become stabilized, but do not exhibit medical complications that necessitate hospitalization.

Must have/meet: * Children from birth to 17 years of age * Be in crisis * Child and parent/guardian must agree to admission * Able to perform expected activities of daily living * Not have a primary diagnosis of substance abuse/dependency * No legal charges beyond parental control/beyond school control * Not require excessive physical restraint
