The Emergency Shelter is in a separate building located next to the Social Services Building of the Salvation Army facilities in Ashland.
Description
Provides an emergency overnight shelter for homeless single adults or families. Shelter clients are provided with personal hygiene products, shower facilities, towels/washcloths, clean sheets and additional clothing if needed. Meals provided at the shelter for Friday, Saturday and Sunday overnights include dinner, a snack and continental breakfast. Clients are referred to the Ashland Community Kitchen for meals on the other days of the week.

Must have/meet: * Must be within the service area for the shelter * Client must comply with house rules, including no intoxication or currently active substance abuse and cannot not present a threat to self or others * A background check is performed on all new clients
