The Ashland Community Kitchen's Food Pantry provides both Community Food Boxes and Senior Food Boxes but each type is distributed on a different schedule. The senior food boxes are part of the USDA Commodity Supplemental Food Program which has eligibility requirements. The community food boxes are available to anyone in need.
Description
Provides a monthly Senior Food Box to Boyd County residents age 60 years or older who meet income eligibility requirements. The food box contains USDA commodity foods to supplement senior diets and is distributed upon approval of the client's application to the program.
