Advises the Fiscal Court on legal issues, prosecutes all traffic offenses and all misdemeanor cases and participates in the early prosecution of felony cases. Administers a cold check program, collect delinquent taxes, assist in guardianship and mental health cases and help parents collect child support payments.

Description
Provides assistance to merchants by investigating and prosecuting bad check writers, arrests and files charges against perpetrators or, if they qualify, allows them to be temporarily diverted from prosecution while given an opportunity to make good on the check.

Description
Provides assistance with locating a non-custodial parent, enforcing existing child support orders, establishing child and medical insurance coverage and establishing paternity for a child born out of wedlock.
