Shelter Requirements:
This is not a walk-in shelter. The coordinator must give approval prior to providing emergency shelter.
Must be a two-parent or group family in Fayette County that is not eligible for other shelter programs such as the Salvation Army or who otherwise would be required to separate for shelter. This includes same-sex couples, unmarried couples with children and other groups of individuals self-identifying as a "family".

Housing Stabilization Program
Description
Provides assistance to minimize trauma and crisis caused by lack of secure housing. The program also reduces evictions, allow landlords to get substantial payments for back rent, reduces the potential spread of COVID-19 by allowing individuals and families to practice Healthy at Home, and reduce the impact on the homeless service delivery system.

Must have/meet: * 80% or below area median income Fayette County resident * Certification household member has qualified for unemployment benefits or has experienced a reduction in household income, incurred significant costs, or experienced other financial hardship due directly or indirectly to the COVID-19 outbreak * Certification that a household is at risk of homelessness by a pending eviction or a past due notice or unsafe or unhealthy living conditions * Landlords must meet additional requirements
