Description
Provides a short-term residential alternative to inpatient hospitalization for adults and/or children from 6 to 17 years of age who are experiencing a mental health crisis and require 24-hour support in a supervised environment to become stabilized, but do not exhibit medical complications that necessitate hospitalization.

Provides 23 hour observation for continued evaluation beyond the initial emergency psychiatric evaluation to further evaluate the individual to ensure appropriate care and disposition which may include admission as an in-patient.
