Offers 3 core programs including Early Learning Center, Family Hearing Center (twinkle to wrinkle) and Speech/Language Therapy Listening & Spoken Language Center. Description
Provides diagnostic tests to identify the degree and type of hearing loss of patients of all ages determined by the patientâs individual needs and is designed to assess specific symptoms and their causes. Helps the patient and their families understand test results and impact of hearing loss and recommends appropriate steps for further management. This may include a referral to a physician of their choice, early childhood intervention specialists, local school districts or to our Hearing Aid Program or our Cochlear Implant Program.

Transitional kindergarten is designed for students who would typically not meet the October 1 cutoff to be enrolled in most kindergarten programs and will attend kindergarten the following school-year. Students will receive the same instruction as the kindergarten students and although their progress will be tracked they will not be graded. Transitional kindergarten students and kindergarten students are combined in the same classroom and benefit greatly from each other. Transitional kindergarten students are exposed to kindergarten core skills but are not expected to master those skills.
Description
Provides full day kindergarten/transitional kindergarten, as well as extended childcare. This classroom meets all core academic standards for the State of Kentucky. Scholarships are available for children receiving speech/language and/or audiology services at LHSC.
