Provides electric service payment assistance for people whose electricity has been or is at risk of being shut off. Provides assistance through the federal Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) generally in the form of a credit, usually available 1 time per calendar year.

Description
Provides financial assistance through the H20 Help to Others Program for income-eligible, residential water and wastewater customers who find themselves unable to pay their Kentucky American Water bill(s). Maximum grant is $250. Qualifying customers may receive 1 grant per calendar year, while funds permit. Exceptions may be made in extreme situations.

Must have/meet: * Total gross household income must be at or below 225% of the 2024 Federal Poverty Income Guidelines * Paid at least $25 toward their water bill in the 180 days prior to applying for assistance * A balance of at least $50 outstanding on account
