Provides a trained counselor from the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) to help seniors with Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security and other topics. Service is offered 2 times a week during open enrollment and 2 times a month during non-enrollment by appointment only.

        Description

        Prepares and delivers regular meals to older adults and people with disabilities who are unable to shop and/or prepare the food for themselves or travel to a site where a meal is being served.

        Must have/meet: * Age 60 or over * Spouse of a person aged 60 or over * Unable to attend a congregate site because of illness or an incapacitating disability; and does not have a person in the home able to prepare a nutritious meal on a regular basis * Under age 60 with a disability and resides with a homebound individual aged 60 or over

        * $5 per meal or $25 per week donation suggestion * No one is denied service for financial reasons
