Also provides holiday assistance for the Christmas season through the CAReS Giving Tree Program.

Description
Provides an assessment of a person's social service needs for individuals and families in emergency/crisis situations and then coordinates the delivery of the needed services by either offering direct services which are available at the CAReS office or by making referrals as needed to other agencies.

Description
Provides a holiday assistance program in which eligible Boyd County adults in need who do not have children may register to receive a holiday food voucher.

Description
Provides a holiday assistance program in which eligible Boyd County families with children receive Christmas gifts of clothing and toys for the children, and a food voucher is supplied to the entire household for a holiday meal. Adults in need who do not have children may register to receive a holiday food voucher only.

Provides an initial assessment by a case manager for people experiencing a housing crisis in which a Service Prioritization Score is determined for the client so that they may be placed on a housing priority list in a way that ensures fair and equal access to available housing.
